In July 2024, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for four development projects in the Tamale Metropolis, valued at $199.85 million. These projects include a water supply system, housing facilities, a shopping mall, and market infrastructure. Initiated through a public-private partnership involving the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly, CCOD, and Jaksally Development Organisation, with funding support from Turkey-based Lola Group, these projects aim to transform the city’s infrastructure and improve residents’ quality of life.
